“I am writing this letter on behalf of Lilly Sponberg. My name is Mike Gallaway and I am the Owner/Manager of Triple Rise Equestrian Center, a Hunter / Jumper stable in Eugene Oregon. I have known Lilly for six years now and I have to say she is a very special individual! Lilly is a hardworking, dedicated, and organized young individual. She takes excellent care of her horse and any others that she is asked to ride. Lilly is a great individual to coach and is always listening for ways to improve her riding. I think that Lilly would be a great addition into your program.”

“Lilly Sponberg is the missing piece you need. I have known Lilly since she was little but have had the honor to work with her in a new capacity starting when she entered high school 2 years ago. It was then when she joined the Eugene International High School’s Student Government at South Eugene High School. In my first year as the president of our student government we were looking for engaged members who had a passion to encourage our unique community and work collaboratively to make events and more happen. Even as a freshman, Lilly came in with a drive to do just that. She has worked continuously to not only fulfill the tasks asked of her but also to go above and beyond, knowing the exact things needed even when not asked. In addition, she has led by example and encouraged her fellow students to engage in the important and lively events we put together. Those attributes blossomed even more as she returned as a sophomore and stepped into the position of Vice-President. Without Lilly’s phenomenal ability to work with various people and personalities, effectively communicate, and follow as well as give accurate directions, our Student Government would not function. With a great work ethic, a positive attitude, and a determination to succeed, Lilly is exactly who you want on your team.”
~ Zara Karpinski, South Eugene’s IHS Student Government President

“I write this letter as an enthusiastic endorsement of Lilian Sponberg’s participation in a college sports program.

I have known Lilian since she began as a freshman in my 9th grade French Immersion geography class. From the first day of class, Lilly has shown dedication, engagement and humor as she pursues her studies with concentration and discipline. She engages in the target language, she works well with her peers, and most importantly, she brings a joyful and positive attitude to the classroom. Although I know Lilly through her academic performance, I am equally sure that she would bring her passion and thoughtfulness to her engagement with sports. In a multigrade classroom, Lilly has been an excellent peer role model and partner for younger students as well.

She can work effectively with any of her classmates. She was a strong student as a freshman last year, but this year, she has really excelled as among the top of her class.

Lilly would make a fantastic addition to any sports program, and she is genuinely a pleasure to have in class.”

“I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Lilly Sponberg, who has been an invaluable member of our team as a Preschool Teacher’s Aide. Despite being only 15 years old, Lilly has demonstrated remarkable maturity, patience, and compassion while assisting our teachers with children ranging from 1 to 5 years old.

From the moment she joined our preschool, Lilly showed a natural ability to connect with young children, making them feel safe, valued, and engaged. She actively participated in various activities, from reading stories to the children and leading arts and crafts projects to supervising them on the playground. She also spent meaningful one-on-one time with children who needed extra attention, always ensuring that every child felt included and cared for.

In addition to her interactions with the children, Lilly was a pleasure to work with among staff members. She was reliable, respectful, and always eager to help wherever needed. Her positive attitude and willingness to learn made her a valued team member, and her ability to work collaboratively with teachers helped create a nurturing and structured environment for the children.

I have no doubt that Lilly will continue to excel in any role she pursues. She is hardworking, dedicated, and has a natural gift for working with children. Any team would be lucky to have her.”
~ Sarah Hamilton, Owner/Director, Young Roots Preschool
